Looking for a safe place to go?

Are you looking for counselling or support?

Stopping the Violence (STV) is a feminist-based counselling program specifically for women whose lives have been affected by violence and abuse.

Outreach is here to help all women, inclusive of cis, trans and non-binary women who are impacted by violence and/or abuse on Salt Spring, Galiano, Mayne, Pender, and Saturna Islands.

Have you, or has someone you know, been sexually assaulted?

The Sexual Assault Support Services are for sexual assault survivors on the Southern Gulf Islands. The program helps survivors access free and confidential emergency support, ongoing support and individual counselling. The Sexual Assault Support Helpline is a free and confidential service.

If you’re unsure if you’ve been sexually assaulted, you can learn more in our Resources section.

Are you looking for support for children who have been exposed to violence?

The PEACE Program addresses the needs of children and youths aged 3 to 18 years who have been exposed to violence and abuse in their family homes. The program also helps parents understand how violence and abuse affects their children.
